Meet Ibone Gomez, a professional Spanish surfer that made the Qualifying Series at 16 years old. She hit the waves at 7 years old in her home town of Leioa, quickly discovered her natural talent and got hooked on the sport. As a young surfer, she competed in local surf competitions. She quickly progressed to the national level, participating in the World Cup and qualifying for Spanish selection in the Eurojunior thus securing her fate as an up-and-coming surf champion.
