Isamu started skateboarding and free skating at the age of 8 years old, competing in his first skateboard contest just 6 months later. He started competing in international competitions in 2014 at age 11. In 2014 he won the World freestyle amateur championship. Then in 2016 he went on to win his first pro at the Big Rio freestyle contest.

Then he won World freestyle round-up Pro in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2021 And in 2022 the Euro freestyle skateboard contest Pro He took part in the international free skate contest in 2019 and won in the street category. He also does longboarding (freestyle and dancing) and became Japanese champion in 2018.
